The Ramones need no introduction from me, take a stroll down to wikipedia if you aren't familiar with who they are.

This is a parody by Killian Yoakem (now age 13, but this was recorded in late September, when he was still 12) of The Ramones' song, "I Wanna Be Sedated". While Killian isn't personal friends with The Ramones, they have been a part of his life since he was old enough to wiggle to music. By the time he was 3, he was introducing himself as "Killian Ramone" and was adamant that he was one of the brothers. And perhaps that was true in a past life, because, just like his brothers in punk, Killian is talented, funny, scrappy, and gives voice to the relatable perspective of a young person who faces both grime and grace. Killian certainly has an awesome taste in music and his original songs are amazing as well! His lo-fi recording sound is right up my alley and I think it is so cool he is writing his own music. He could certainly make a career out of it if he wanted to. So excited to be able to include his parody in the compilation!
