Mika Jones is an upcoming singer/songwriter, busker and producer. For Mika, music is his closest friend and an outlet to share his emotions enabling him to connect with the rest of the world. He has studied music and travelled across many countries doing his best to earn money from playing as a busker. Mika has also written, recorded and produced his first album, Different, as a solo artist. His goal is to pursue a professional career within the music industry and he believes that if you dream big and work hard then you can achieve anything, and we strongly agree with him!

Mika was touring in Brazil when the coronavirus struck and has had to cancel all his scheduled shows. We are so happy to be able to spread the word about his music and support him even in this small way!

Laugh/eyes is a new song that Mika has not previously released on his Bandcamp. The whole tune has a strong folk rock and acoustic pop vibe. It reminds me of many newer Irish bands that I’ve listened to, who blend catchy melodies with more traditional instrumentation. The song begins with a simple acoustic rhythm and lead guitar, but quickly picks up with the introduction of Mika’s powerful vocals. Fans of The Lumineers and We Banjo 3 are sure to love this amazing song!
